Application:

The automatic Tetra Pak® Ingredient Doser 3000 A3 is designed for the continuous and accurate injection of fruit pieces, nuts, candies and other free flowing granulates into ice cream or similar products.

A dual hopper doses two ingredients simultaneously into one ice cream stream through a single lamella pump. Built-in software ensures a stable and accurate ingredient flow in predetermined ratios with precise inclusion distribution. A very low standard deviation of 3% for inclusions reduces overfilling and hence product giveaway, reducing the user’s ingredient costs.

Capacity:

– Hopper capacity: 75 litres

– Throughput capacity of base product: 500 to 3,500 l/h

– Throughput capacity of ingredients: 40 to 700 l/h

Working principle:

The ingredient feeder is a self-contained unit ready to be connected to power and ice cream supply. Ingredients are dosed from the hopper by a helical dosing auger into the lamella pump. This gently delivers the ingredients into the ice cream stream. Further mixing is performed in the in-line mixer before the ice cream passes through the outlet of the feeder.
