Fruit feeders

Ingredient dosers, often just called fruit feeders, add fruit and other products to ice cream in a measured, controlled process. We stock the latest fruit feeders from Tetra Pak including the new A3 2000 and 3000 models. These units ensure accurate dosing of a wide range of ingredients including biscuit pieces.

A large hopper reduces the need for refilling and the hopper and outlet auger are designed for gentle handling of brittle ingredients. A lamella pump feeds the ingredients gently into the ice cream mixture without breaking or damaging them and without incorporating any air into the mixture. A 'loss-in-weight' control system, combined with the correct auger selection, enables extremely accurate dosing, thus avoiding waste and maintaining constant quality of the end product.
